How you feel after watching Code Geass ep 24&25?

"I thought the ending was perfect and a great way to lead into Season 2 of Code Geass with a lot of unanswered questions. You all have to admit that you are eagerly awaiting as to what will happen next.

I'm very curious to see how they continue the story, with the rebellion starting to lose against Britannia and of course, everything with Nunnally. I can't believe it - why does everything bad have to happen to the innocent!?"

As a hardcore fan of Metroid, I must say that my most favorite title of the series (and one of my most favorite games of all times) is Super Metroid. It has everything:

-A balanced gameplay, so not that experienced players can beat it without problems, even if they don't find all the items. Of course, the most necessary items are easily obtainable.

-A lot of moves that add a lot of gameplay. The triangle jump, the bombs technique, the Speed Buster, even the grappling beam.

-A giant world to explore, and even though it has some known zones (Brinstar, Norfair, Tourian), they're extremely changed (even though you can still see some locations from Metroid 1, like the Mother Brain lair), plus new zones like Maridia and that strange wrecked ship thing. Most of the secret zones weren't that obvious to find, like that small way that leaded you to an energy tank, at the beginning of Crateria.

-An extraordinaire soundtrack. Probably the Metroid with the biggest variety of songs ever. I was surprised when I noticed a lot of the tracks from the game weren't based from the original Metroid or Metroid 2 (except for the main title theme).

-The most impressive visuals the Super Nintendo is able to achieve (along with Final Fantasy 6), filled with a variety of graphical enviroments and effects. The battles with the bosses are a proof of it.

-Talking about the bosses... yeah, some of the most imporessive and thought battles you can encounter in a Super Nintendo game.


I'll try to write something about the other Metroid titles in a near future.




Definitely well said - Super Metroid was an amazing game.

I loved Metroid Prime. Prime 2 wasn't as good as the first one, but still a great game in its own right. Corruption should be amazing whenever it comes out, especially with the new way of gameplay with the Wii Remote."

Do you think they're remaking FF7 for PS3?

"Why in the world don't we just let this game rest!?
I mean, c'mon, there can only be so many re-makes or whatever for this game. Why can't we just let a classic, REMAIN a classic? I mean, would Final Fantasy 7 be such a good game simply because of graphics? We all loved it because of the storyline, the plot, the romance triangle, Sephiroth, etc., etc.
Square Enix is right in not remaking the game. They should simply go with new projects (aka. Final Fantasy 13 and 13: Versus - which will be amazing) and their new RPG - The Last Remnant. Check out the latest issue of Game Informer to see what that's all about."

I feel they really took a lot of the same elements from Shakugan no Shana but simply warped the plot, some of the characters, and bam, you get Kaze no Stigma.
Nevertheless, so far, its been pretty good, so I'm excited to watch further."

FFXIII: Next big hit or a crash and burner?

"Final Fantasy 13 is going to be the next big thing whenever it comes out for the ps3 and whatever other console it may be crossing over to (there has been some talk of it being shipped over to the Xbox 360, but not totally sure). Just look at the graphics, the little storyline that we do know seems to have a ton of potential and I'm totally loving the idea of the release of versus with it. "

Remake of Final Fantasy VII

I must have seen this topic "Remake of FFVII" like at thousand times. Why don't we just let the classics rest for once. I think we all are in the mood of something new and fresh, and not the same thing over and over again. As good as Final Fantasy VII was, if I see another remake, I think i'm going to throw up. Dirge of Cerberus wasn't that great, I don't know what's going to happen with Crisis Core and I'll admit that Advent Children was good. But there's a limit, and I think Square Enix passed this limit with Final Fantasy 7 a long time ago. This is why I **love** Final Fantasy 8, no weird remakes...just one amazing classic."

Most likely, the article meant that Square-Enix is deciding to spread out Final Fantasy games over the different platforms perhaps? I don't believe the Wii (avid Nintendo fan here) can handle Xi if FFXi is specifically made for the ps3. And sorry to be one-sided here, but I just don't *see* Final Fantasy Xi on the xbox360 for some reason."

"It's really all about Sheik and Marth in this game. Hehe, well, those are the two characters that I'm most comfortable playing with. I just recently switched over from Roy to Marth when I realized (yes, even though I love playing with swift characters, slow to realize) that Marth was actually faster. Haha.

Brawl should be amazing. I hear that they are thinking about using the gamecube controller to play the game b/c the Wii motion sensor isn't too adaptable. Again, just a rumor."

In my opinion, people who think tetris is for geeks don't know the true meaning of gaming. Tetris...one of the very first games to come out EVER, and people still play it today. It's an endless game that really can keep you entertained for quite some time.

For the puzzle games, well, if you think games like Ninja Gaiden, Legend of Zelda, Resident Evil, Silent Hill (to name a few) are for geeks, then I guess your right. Then again, what's wrong with being a geek? They'll be making the money in the future, eh? Hehe."

Twilight Princess...short? It's one of the longest Zelda games out there, with about 40-50 hours of gameplay among the average gamer. Unless it felt short because it was really easy? Dunno."

I'm currently watching Naruto and Bleach,.. and One Piece hasn't been subbed since 3 to 4 weeks already...




Actually, One Piece now is being subbed by Vegapunk (episodes 293+), so you should check them out for the latest One Piece episodes.

As for me, I'm currently watching the new Naruto, new Bleach and the new One Piece.

I heard the Death Note (relatively new anime) is really good, so maybe you can check them out if you haven't already done so. Fate/Stay Night is also very good too."
