" Yes.¬.¬ Well, except for the part of being mugged. (ow) But yeah, and it can be real spazzim at that point. Quite frankly, I love those days, cause you KNOW that things will (hopefully) be better the next day. AND you have friends to be spazzed up with you when you feel like acting very very stupid. (however the majority of my school is already weird, what with random shouting and boys running around with blow horns on game days.)

Bad Day s anyone?

"I was pulling up weeds yesterday. It was a ivy vine. The vine must have flippin 40 feet into the ground. I finally got it done but totally destroyed half the yard in the process. ¯\(°_o)/¯ Anyway, I was sitting on my balcony, facing the backyard, and I happened to have a bad day.
I went to look at the wall and here's a stupid baby vine creepin' up the wall again. I swear at that point I wanted to take a rake er SOMETHING and start stabbing it where that root was. I'm like... I can't get a break, this isn't my day, this bloody plant has friends and the friends have kids.

And yet, I'm over it.

Any one had bad days? Like this? XD"

" Hey all. Me(again). This wall, I have to say I'm very proud of. Not only did I accomplish great color in this, but I love how the two background parts(see top left corner and bottom right corner) really flow. This looks good and it's a real step up because I usually have trouble accomplishing this sort of thing.

So check it out. Oh, and the text will be moved later, because I realized that if placed there, the desktop icons do cover up the text, so just pretend it's over to the right a little more... ^-^

oOo. I get what you're saying now. I've never tried that sort of thing before. I'll have to see how that works out...

As for the background, this isn't the only version of it. I have different backgrounds that I make just in case I want to create a different version, or if I want to use it for a later wallpaper then I would be able to do that. Anyways, as soon as I tweek that, I'll post the different versions on here for opinions.

this is gonna take some thinking. I think I'll regenerate the background, this time with out the blue clouds. I have a few other scans as well. I'll try those because their color is similar to that of the wallpaper.

" Yeah this DEFINITELY needs to be smaller. I don't think this is a wallpaper size. You should read the guide and find out what to do. Remember, it's gonna take a lot of practice before you get it right. I just got my first wallpaper approved into the gallery yesterday, and I went through so many drafts and editorials.

This could be a good wall, but do just a filter. That sort of thing almost never gets approved. Take your time with it. Rushing never helps. It takes a lot of time, so you're better off planning it out first, then posting it here. By the way, the thing you have to remember about scans is that they're big for a reason. That way you can make for a big-sized screen and the image won't be so pixelated.

" Okay...First off, the sky is a little dark. The moon should be brighter. Also the face is weird. It's not complete, like there's a piece missing there by the chin. It looks like you cropped out the face, then just put it onto a completely different body.

" Okay I'll take up those things. I'm reviewing right now, and I need to find a brush or two that contains balloons and fireworks. I'm thinking about making the sky darker, too. In order to make the fireworks a little more synced to the background. I'll post the newer version soon.

Okay here's the new version. I darked the sky a little bit and got rid of the bigger leaves. I decided to place petals in that area instead so it looks like the wind is blowing towards the right.

"The red things are leaves. I'm not sure what kind...I forget at the moment, but there are different sizes and styles that come with the brush. It's supposed to be blowing around like in wind.

"I like the color of that. What if you did something like, while working with the parchment look, making it into a burnt map or timeless scroll look. Then layering another piece at an angle on top of it? That might look nice.

" I like the second one. The canvas print on things never really did much for me. It makes the entire wall look sort of...off balance. Also, you should try different things with it. I'm not sure what the acceptance percent is for solid colored papers, but I wouldn't go with just an accented edges filter. Try adding a little more color to it. Vectoring it and three-dimensionally it bringing it out might work, too. But I definitely recommend trying different things with it.

The main image of Yuna is really pretty, but the effect of an English vivace print doesn't really accent it. Also the text seems a little out of place with the rest of the wall. It's projecting a softer sort of look in my eyes and the font and its effects seem to be a military kind of design. But as for the rest the background is nicely done and your character seems to be vectored really well.

" It's a little crowded, perhaps a little lighter on the speckles? After all sometimes less is more. Also your character seems a little out of focus. Blurry on some parts and others not so much. You should try to fix that. I wonder, maybe try adding different shades of purple and blue to it to give it a little flare. The larger speckles seem to be overdone as well. Do just a few of those. Then again it all depends on what you're after. Do you want it to be simple or busy in your wall. Ask yourself questions about how you want your wall to look, and then work from there. Personally, I think it should be more simple, but that's just my opinion.

"It would be a good wallpaper, but there's a few problems:
- It's a GIF format. The Paper People won't accept it.
- The character is low quality. She's really cute, but try to find a scan to where
it has bigger resolution. Or maybe retouch her if it was just a artistic choice. Her
face is the major point, it seems.
- The background is nice, but the colors don't really flow. Try to make up a
different design using that area of colors, but with a different pattern this time.
- The text seems a little low quality, too. It looks a little edgy on my screen. But
it might just be me.

I think you should read the FAQ's, the AP guide, and take a look at other topics on Session Zero. Lots of people on here have lots of experience, so believe me when I say these guys(and girls) know what they're talking about.

" This is really good. I think you should make your signature one size smaller, though. Remember it should be hidden by the tool bar, otherwise it will look sort of strange, what with the tops of the letters sticking out above the menu. Besides that, it looks really good. VERY depressing and Gothic.

I can't believe I missed that. Thanks for that. I got a notification from Kalico. She said I should fix the font. I don't know what she meant by that, though. I do agree the first font looks better, but I figured I'd try a few different ones and that was the one I liked the most. Guess I'll change it back and see what happens.
