U used a screenshot or something for the background which is really blurry and bad quality compared to the vector's sharpness and contrast. So if you want you should prolly vector the entire background too to create spacial depth and perspective. but once again really nice vectoring work."

"What about a city scene with fighting going on in the back, you can make it a bit misty if you want I like somewhat of a battlefield or maybe something destroyed and a smoke. Something like that. Hard to work with the perspective though"

"Gundams with grass field just don't mix well together, I'd suggest a military installation, in a big ship hanger, or space scene will be much more effective. Or better yet on a burning battlefield.

"If im not mistaken i have the chobit artbook and it looks just like taken out from that and the background is way too simplistic by using patterns. I mean it gives a unique sense of style but really it just looks like the book back cover extended."

"First of all must applaud you on the space background you made, it's very impressive I must say. But you overlooked the fact of one important thing, spacial depth. Those can be achieved by making dim and bright star clusters, the planets themselves are not bad.

Now the two mechas from different series it's a bit odd you would use them I guess you were going more for the pose. As I suggested earlier, if you give more depth to your space scene and add light source from one of your planet I guess you can cast lightning and shadows on your mechs and with a good extraction and added lightning effect then it would be better.

By the way, if the legend is heading toward sandrock, it feels sandrock is not even seening him, I guess scans are hard to find? Anyways clash of the titans should not be easily used since it's hard to duplicate the wall Nat made. Must pay respect by not using similar name you kno.

I can't really consider this a wallpaper because it lacks a clear design, I mean afterall it is just a vector of the screen shot, don't really see any originality or walllpaper composition. Other then that it's a pretty decent vector I would say.

I really cant give you much suggestion other than telling you I get what your concept is, a little bit convetional and commercialized but good ones i guess. But if you are really dedicated to it I would suggest you to CG the entire background, color them. Then sharpen your scan and give it some glow or something to contrast it from the background, it will look really good. Otherwise those character illustration wallpaper really doesn't work."

"Monochromatic wallpaper are usually not "popular" unless you can work some magic. I think you got something there, although it looks like just another page from the manga. I think you can making it look instead like a collage, adding some manga effect and make the character poping out. Otherwise I think there would be a strong possibility of getting rejected.

"Usually people you meet on animepaper are pretty harmless I would say, other forums I really don't know, I met a couple good friends over at http://www.seed-forums.com I have a lot of friends too who I hang out with.

But just keep in mind as dangergous as it may seem to be, due to the further development of internet this is going to be the trend, online dating, online friends making, etc etc. People just have to get used to it. Of course it's good sometimes because people feel more comfortble to talk to people online and stuff. Anyways not gonna get into it, pretty much I'm trusting to a certain degree so.................... Decide yourself"

"Yeah, nothing you can do much since the scan covered about the entire wallpaper, I would suggest though, make an alternate version, make a background with more tech brushes instead of abstract ones, better for mechas and stuff, just experiment with different backgrounds and see which blends the best.

"I really have no complain now, it looks perfect, especiall you got rid of the grainny texture, the logo looks very kick ass, only thing I would suggest is to blur the buildings a little bit more, the especially the ones on the left most look too sharp contrasting with the sky and clouds. There should be a atmospherical perspective on things really far they tend to be more blurry and misty.

custom brushes made by other people
rough sketch + lineart + brush paint
vectored backgrounds

"Looks like all you did with the photograph is change hue/saturation colorize it, one of the guy looks really green almost ghostly well since you changed the opacity so low they both look like ghosts anyways, I would suggest you to take some time the get the color balance right. Also the proportion and perspective is way off lol, the girl is way so small compare to the two guys.

Keep work on it though good things will happen"
