"Yeah I noticed too. Though I can't say things because I'm 17 as well so I'm going through it too :P
It'd kinda ironic for me to say this but yeah my mum used to tell me how life used to be simple when she was young. okay maybe that may be a bit too far away but you get the idea. Now kids tend to live life on the fast lane and want to grow up faster. Younger kids in my school like, 13/14 don't have respect for the elderly and i'm just picking the small bits like holding doors and pushing past ppl. Now teens treat swearing like a normal word and they can say it anytime now - even my cousin (11 years old) swears! and i was pretty shocked. And i'm guessing the environment plays a role too, like parents not taking care of them properly, not disciplining them well or having a bad family history or just generally too busy.
But yeah alot of things has changed like more violence, teenagers trying to live life in the fast lane, etc.
Though you can easily discard this because it's ironic for a 17 year old to say all these things."

"I'm really sorry for your loss...but you've got to move on. There is nothing you can do about it. Like Maverickslayer said, he will always be in your heart and memories, he will not fully be gone. Also, I'm thinking that Greg wouldn't want to see you all so unhappy all the time. He would've wanted you guys to stay happy, love each other and carry on doing so. I don't think he would want to see you upset all the time.

Exam Results Failed: Your Reactions?

"It depends I guess. doesnt it? :S cuz think about it
- if you didnt revise for the exam, then you would obviously think you're gonna get a bad mark on it. But it would be a different case if you revised like crazy and you think you did well in your exam when in fact, you did bad at it and get a bad mark. You would get disappointed.
For me, I always revise as hard as I can (I think! not too sure bout that!) and when i enter the exam room I feel I'm ready. After the exams over i think i did pretty well, then when the results come out I did really badly. I just get really disappointed I guess because I try really hard and the outcome just doesnt seem right. but that always happen in my case. i have no luck :P.
maybe i shud work smarter. but yeah. Bad exam results = me being upset and disappointed in myself = cry :P"

Do you exercise?

"YES. i have to do exercise otherwise i die xD i love exercising!! hehehe i'm in any sports team possible - netball, tennis, waterpolo, swimming, basketball, volleyball, badminton - you name it! i'm all rounded, although my main is netball, tennis, swimming and martial arts. muahahaha. must do exercise! :P keeps me fit and healthy i guess
however recently i tore my main knee ligaments (cruciate ligament) by falling over in netball. gonna go through surgery next week. save me!! ='(
if that never happened then i would be going to the gym or doing any sports whenever i can :D "

How forgiving are you?

"Uh. NO don't forgive them for what they've done! if they keep hurting you then it just seems like they're using you and when they're hurt they just turn to u, thinking you're like their reserve! it's so not worth it. I'm sorry I am one of the most evil people around here :P but these things happen. If they hurt you more than once its not worth being their friend. you deserve better. I have a friend now who just turns to me when she has nobody to talk to but when we've got our friends she just ignores me and just thinks shes so cool and hangs around with them. Then when she has no one to talk to she just turns to me but it annoys me so its too late :P i got my own or more friends than her and so i'd rather talk to more truthful, better friends than those who just ignore you and turn to you if they've got nobody around for the time being like her. so i'll just ditch her. it's her fault and her loss.
But this is from my own point of view i guess and depending on how serious the situation is. Sure you can forgive if they wont do it again. but after a certain number of times its really not worth being their friend. you can forgive but i guess you cant really forget which might have an affect. :P"

"My normals around 10-15 mins (i'm a girl by the way) and if i just wanna relax after playing some intense sports or its cold i take ageeeeeeeeees maybe 30 mins? just to let the water warm me up. if i'm in a rush the most i can do is jump in, take 5-10 mins and get out again :P

"I have friends in my school who are in the accelerated maths set and its insane >.< i did maths until 1st year in high school and i had to quit because i ended up with an E in my exam xP i'm not dumb! honestly! its just that maths isnt really the subject for me.
i was told that if you want to revise and do well, you've got to do alot of practice questions so when you go into the exam, you'll get the basis of what they're asking you and after that you're fine

"Im in my last year of high school and people always say enjoy the last year of it yeah? i hate it =.= im in boarding school in england and its cold, the people are snobby (i just started 1 year ago so this is my 2nd year in boarding school) teachers hate me for some bizarre reasons (i think they think that i'm stupid but i just chose different subjects to the ones which I can actually do because i thought i might want to try something new - it was all a mistake) i just applied to universities/colleges here and thank god i got an offer from the college i really want to go to!! can't wait to leave high school for college!
to be honest it really depends on how much you fit in with the people in your school. i sorta fit in pretty well but it's just i don't like the competitiveness or the atmosphere which brings me down."

"I'd just doodle around my notes to keep me awake. although once in a while i'll actually try to pay attention to the teacher and just jot down random things he says - which is quite pointless because when i look over them later on during the day it doesnt make any sense at all xD
so i just stick to doodling and random sketches on the column or if theres space in my notes."

"Yep i lie to my mum most of the time because she's the overprotective type who won't really let me do much stuff and it's like - i'm 17, i have my own mind.
so i sorta lie to my mum if i'm going on a one on one with a guy so i'd just say i'm hanging out with some of my friends.
yep i feel really guilty after lying because i kno that shes doing it for my own good but it's sorta like...over the top i guess. if i didn't lie then i would be staying in my house in my room for life! grr. i've spoken to her recently about this and now we've sorta settled it - i've got a curfew - yayyy! but i would still lie once in a while for a) trivial things or b) if it's something really important i guess
