Why Wait?

"Well now, i didn't think i'd find a topic like this on the boards here, but oh well here we go..
(wow this is like a pretty personal subject matter eh)

(please bear in mind that the following is just an expression of my opinions, please don't point at me as an excuse to go around having lotsa 'fun', kno what i mean? lol)

where to start, when you say you are waiting for the right time, or the right person, what kind of criteria are using to judge 'when', or 'who', is the right time/person for you to let go and begin a whole new part of life? are you going to use the views and ideals of the society you live in, or are you going to trust yourself to the utmost, and make that kind of choice for yourself..? whichever way that you choose, there is no real wrong or right.. because i think that one of the most basic functions of man (the species i mean) is to procreate (ie reproduce). you can either follow the views of society and take the leap when it is deemed appropriate (in terms of age and progression of relationship) or you can make that choice yourself.. and do what you want when you want and with who you want.. and it's not like a pregnancy is guaranteed to happen, just use one (or two or three, heck as many as you want) of the many different methods of birth control available to us now.. and be careful, and it will just end up as an 'experience'.. although what kind i can't really say. lol.

from what i kno, the issues and questions that are raised by people before and after losing virginity are totally different.. (from what i kno that is).. the things that you consider and ponder before it are numerous and well, it's good that the young ones don't just jump straight in and go for it.. haha. that's what i think. (what am i talkin about..? i'm only 21 this year.. heh) but yeah, i think once you've grown up a bit more, well, this won't be so much of an issue..

well, enough rambling from me.. think about it or not, it's your own choice to wait or not.. (just be careful, is all)

but then, if you had someone to play with and go thru the story mode and stuff, now that was fun, especially when you pull off your moves in the same area.. ooh yeah super over the top special effects.. muahaha.. double musou attack or something.. (urm am i talkin about the right game..?) hehehe..

i played from ff7 all the way till ffx-2. and quite frankly, the only one out of the lot that i didn't finish was ff8..i couldnt bear to keep playing it after 3 hours..

"Hrrm, books huh, well lets see.. i looked into RA Salvatore's Hunter's Blades trilogy.. which i thought was pretty awesome, but i've always had a thing for raymond e. feist, and david eddings, but leaning more towards feist. the riftwar saga and the serpentwar one was real good for me too, i must have read thru those two series at least 10 times.. as you can see, i am really into fantasy books.. hehe. oh yeah, cant leave out the dragonlance, definitely. i loved dragonlace chronicles, as well as the dragonlance legends.. oh yes gotta love those. hehe.

"Yo i got the same problem, and i am using IE, but fomr some weird reason, it only occurs when i go to the main page first. if i proceed to the 'latest submissions' page and then go back to the main page, all the images load properly.. kinda weird, but since the general view here is that everythin is cool wit firefox, i think imma go get that.. peace ya'll."

Makai Kingdom

"Makai kingdom.. i'd say it's pretty good.. so far.

i'm only about 12+ hours into the game.. according to my savegame. lol. but it's been quite an interesting experience so far. although i do have a bit of a problem figuring some things out. heheh. the thing with making wishes and losing a character and then the transfer of mana when you create the character again.. something like that. other then that.. i love the gameplay. a wide range of units available for you to pick from.. entirely up to you what kind of battle strategy you want to use.. whether it's a whole group of spellcasters, or a lot of units with light attacks and high movement and stuff like that. awesome..

only thing is.. i find the voice acting a bit on the cheesy side.. heheh. especially 'pram the oracle'. lol.

but i am thoroughly enjoying the experience so far. respect. oh well, bye now."

who do you think manaka (ichigo 100%) should end up with..? and why..?

"To all you out there who have been reading ichigo 100%, just a lil question that i'd like to ask.. in your opinion, who do you think he should be with in the end. (oh by the way, it would help lots if you have read up until the end of volume 16.. or more)

throughout the course of the manga.. there are more than a few chicks that take an interest in him, but i'd say the ones with the most intimate scenes with manaka were toujo, satsuki, and of course nishino. but the thing is, well, it seems ti me that nishino is the one he 'should' end up with.. bcuz it looks like even the author of the series is leaning towards nishino, while at the same time trying to make things seem as if the main character is gonna choose toujo in the end. but no matter how i look at it now, i think it would be most appropriate for manaka to end up with nishino, or maybe i'm just biased, cuz i really like nishino.. haha.

(do not read past this point if you do not want to see spoilers!)

if you have read the manga, i think you can see a trend between the interaction that the main character has with all the girls.. with toujo, he has more 'ecchi' scenes, where there is very little clothing involved.. due to unforseen circumstances, and with satsuki, there is alot of her trying to get down and dirty with manaka, and with nishino.. it's mostly romantic and overnight events.. for example when nishino asked him to spend 3 days and two nights with her alone on a trip.. and then the time when they were about the spend the night together and they snuck into their old middle school and started to get funky on the bed in the nurse's office.. and then another time when she fell asleep in his bed before he got home.. and those are some of the reasons why i think nishino and manaka should be together in the end.. and also because in the whole series, only she was ever his girlfriend, even though they started going out in a stupid way.. and also because she managed to do one pull-up for him..

err, sorry for the intensely long post, it's just that i think nishino is so hot! and cute and smart.. she rocks. full-stop. lol.

"Whoa and here i was trying to get an opinion on whether or not to go out and buy the manga.. they have vol 1 - 6 where i am right now.. wasn't sure if i should go and get them (they are the US version) but after checkin out all the posts here, well.. i definitely got my answer.. i downloaded chp 1 - 11, and then i went someplace else and got chp 54 - 89, so now i am missing 11 - 53.. so i think i will go and buy the manga vol 1 - 6.. besides, ken akamatsu rocks. i loved 'love hina', and i am liking 'negima' at the moment."

Xbox 360 or Ps3

"Hrrrm, but there is something that seems to have gone unmentioned here. er, in a recent tech magazine here in malaysia, they did put out some tentative prices for the two consoles. (meaning approximate prices) the ps3 was forecasted to be around RM1,890 (about 200 more than what i paid for the ps2), whereas the xbox 360 is said to be around RM1,155.. (by the way RM is the malaysian currency) even though the price difference is like around RM650, i would still go for the ps3, not because i am some sony fanboy or anything like that, but solely because of the games lineup.
and thats the reason why i never bought an xbox.
sure there were more than a few xbox games i really wanted to play, but there were a tonne more on the ps2, as will probably be the case with the ps3. and that is the deciding factor for me. games. so. the. ps3. is. my. choice...
oh yeah.. the release dates.. ps3 due spring 2006, xbox 360 xmas 2005.. :hehe: big difference, microsoft hopes to steal the market.. and i really don't think it will work.. :rant:

"Well hrm, this question depends on whether or not i have my car.. but realistically.. the time span depends on whether or not i have my car.
see, if i did have my car, i could go out, and i wouldn't feel the loss so bad, but if didn't have the car, i'd probably go mad, cuz someone hogs the tv, and well, there is always my ps2, but other than that, nothing.
so pretty much, i'd probably die of boredom, it just depends on how long. lol.

"I've been having dogs since i was 9.. and now i am turning 21.. so that makes.. erm.. 12 years.

the dog that i've got now is a golden retriever, by the name of jordan. 3 years old at the moment.

i had two dogs before this one.. they ran away.. and were too dumb to come home.. two shih-tzus. damn dumb. i've come to realise something.. (someone correct me if i am wrong), but generally, the smaller a dog is, apparently, the dumber they are. bcuz most big dogs i kno of are quite a bit more intelligent than the teeny ones.

oh well.. i love dogs.. and well, cats are cool too. not too bad, but i'm more of a dog person.

(oh oh, i really want to get a guinea pig too.. they are damn awesome too, imo) lol.

it was a damn addictive game.. in my opinion..

"It used to be friends at the top.. but then my opinions have changed abit..
now family and my significant other share the top spot.. while friends are at second..
my girlfriend is always there for me.. always there if i need someone to talk to. always supporting me..
and as for family.. (in my case i think of my parents when i say this.. not my siblings).. they have always been supportive.. giving me what i need when i need it.. (a place to stay.. haha.. money.. haha.)

"There's this "mini-addiction" that i have for solitaire on the pc. it's like even if i have something important that needs doing or if i've got nothing to do at all.. my hand just automatically make the mouse open the menu and open that little program called solitaire. i mean.. what the heck am i doing..?!? there are other games to play out there.. and there are way more interesting games too.. er you get what i mean..
err sorry if this is a stupid post but i am for real here.. whenever i'm doing nothing.. or doing some assignments or whatever.. i just automatically open up solitaire and i blank out for the time that i spend playing it.. am i going nuts or something.. anyone else feel the same way? ahaha oh well..

China opens game addiction clinic?

"I don't know iy you all have heard about this, it was quite a while back, but people have died just because of 'internet addiction", or more precisely, addiction to computer/video games. there was a man, i believe it was in korea, he spent i think it was 3 or 4 days straight in a cybercafe/internet-cafe playing games (i think it was ragnarok).. he didnt go out to eat or drink or anything.. and he passed away right there in front of the computer. i don't know what was going on but thats what happened.. a few years ago.

"I'm sorry if the title was a bit mis-leading, but this is just something i thought i might share with all of you here at AP. quite personal, but nonetheless meaningful, i think/hope.

during class, a certain lecturer of mine told us (ie the students in class) a few things..
he said -"just what are we fighting for.. life is short, live it and be merry" (something like that anyway, at least thats how i interpreted it, he took a long time to get to that point). it was like, he said that fighting is meaningless, what should we argue for, and that it's better to have more friends, so stop making enemies..
and then he also said something else that i believe has extreme significance and meaning.. "how good of a friend a person was to you before, determines how good an enemy they become.." he said that if you were 'damn' good friends before something unfortunate came to pass, then later you would become 'damn' good enemies, meaning that the most likely scenario would be that you would each leave each other alone, except for the occasional 'evil-eye' stare, but nothing more than that plus a few negative thoughts. but if you were not really friends at all before, then you will make damn fking bad enemies instead, where one or the other or both of you are trying to 'finish each other off'.. as the saying goes.. like 'elimination' of oen another.. or something. do you get what i mean? ah well.. just something that i thought ya'll should kno.. just something i felt like telling to the world. anyway.. thats all.
